This place has classic tacos. Very old school looking. Quite a classic space. Not loud. Lots of long time customers who suggested the famous crispy tacos ! Cooked order to serve. I will def be coming back. The entire family Loved it
If you are looking for a no frills, tasty, and relatively inexpensive place to eat ... this place is it! I ordered the burrito ole, I was full after eating 1/2 of it! It tasted so good that I kept eating until I was stuffed! The interior decor hasn't been updated in 20 years ... but who cares ... the food is great!
The enchiladas lacked flavor but the hot sauce and salsa made it a little bit better. Tacos were delicious. Staff was nice, friendly and inviting. Clean, welcoming atmosphere. I would return and recommend.
Five Stars Aren’t Enough! Just had the most mind-blowingly delicious tacos of my life, and I’m still dreaming about them! Tasty Chicken Box Crispy Tacos is an absolute gem—from the moment you walk in, you’re hit with the warm, spicy aroma of sizzling meat and fresh tortillas, and you just know you’re in for something special. I tried the Chicken over Rice—OH. MY. WOW. The meat was tender and juicy, bursting with rich flavor. Plenty of parking, great service A
I have seen a couple of Tippy's Taco Houses in this area, so I stopped by for a try. The taco was very good, crispy shell, and the meat was great, I even detected cumin in the spiced ground beef! I enjoyed the decoration - in a classic Mexican-American restaurant, very clean, and the service was quick. Not too many parking spaces. Another visit: ordered a beef burrito, no-frills just perfectly seasoned meat served hot, delicious!
when you first walk in, this place almost takes you back to the 80's! it's incredibly retro looking on the inside - not much has changed from when they first opened it seems. they have daily specials that do not change every week - consistently the same for each weekday. now on the weekends, their special is an incredible deal especially for the area. for 10.50, you get two tacos, two chicken enchiladas, rice & beans, two tostadas one fountain drink. this place is truly one of the last hole in the wall restaurants you'll find in this area. hidden gem for sure!
Take a step back in time 30 years to the soul of what Taco Bell could have been. Tippy's is timeless, delicious, and no-frills classic Mexican-American at an affordable price. The hot sauce is incredibly well balanced and out of this world good. Just spicy enough to tickle the tongue with a great, full-bodied flavor and a hint of lime. The queso is also perfect! Update June 25th 2025, no longer Tippy's tacos, the new name is tasty Chicken box, crispy tacos. Other than some new signage, you wouldn't notice any difference, still good food. Tippy's Taco has been here a really long time. I've been coming here occasionally for not sure 10-20 years
